Nissan Fairlady 370Z Coupe

Mention the word Japanese muscle-car, and most folks will likely start thinking about the venerable Nissan GT-R. The GT-R definitely deserves plenty of praise – it is the only modern day Japanese offering that has been able to put continental supercars to shame is almost every department. Shame then, that Godzilla has cast such a huge shadow over Nissan’s other offerings. The Nissan Fairlady 370Z is not a supercar by any means… but it is definitely a muscle-car worthy of mention, rivaling cars like the Porsche Boxster/Cayman, BMW Z4, Mercedes SLK and in some occasions even the mighty American V8s like the Camaro and Mustang. And, like the GT-R, the 370Z is without a doubt a muscle-car bargain.

Zerotohundred x Blue Jackets: Shell Helix Invasion Tour

I have been incredibly busy the past couple of weeks, which explains the lack of updates. Over the last few weeks, I reviewed a Golf R and a Chevrolet Camaro, then headed to Wolfsburg for a Volkswagen Brand Familiarization exercise, and just last weekend I was down south in Johor for a Zerotohundred X Blue Jackets trip. It’s all been pretty hectic, but I promise a proper update… soon. In the meantime, look out for the Camaro on the cover of Autogridz; should be in stores by the end of this week!

First Impression: Volkswagen Scirocco R & Golf R

I’ve been on a Volkswagen roll, recently. Fresh from testing the Scirocco & Golf TSI, and the pocket rocket Polo GTI, I had the opportunity to get my grubby paws over the wheel of a Scirocco R and Golf R.

First Impression: Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale

This is no longer the latest, most updated news around but I thought I’d post some of my older entries up anyway. A few months back, Naza Italia updated me with news that the latest Maserati was in town. Hailed as the wildest, fastest and lightest Maserati in the current line-up, inspired by the Trofeo GT MC and the GT4 race winning car, this MC Stradale is a side of Maserati (the WILD side) that isn’t seen very often.

First Impression: Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4

Last week, I had the privilege to be invited by Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur to have a super exclusive preview of the cars on display, including of course the latest Bull in the stable: the Aventador LP700-4. Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, the Aventador is the replacement for the out-going Murciélago model. As can be expected, this new model once again shares it’s namesake with a legendary, trophy winning fighter bull.

Driven: Volkswagen Polo GTI

Gran Turismo Iniezione. This is the acronym for the famous GTI badge, used widely across the go-faster Volkswagen range. The Mk5 Polo is the latest in the family to be gifted the GTI badge, and I had the opportunity to find out if the Polo could match bite with bark. I’ve never driven a supermini before, and reading the spec sheet made me really look forward to driving it.

Driven: Volkswagen Golf 1.4 TSI

In the past, I’ve never really taken much notice of the Volkswagen marque. It was only when I drove a mk5 Golf GTI when I started to realize VW actually made some pretty fun cars. Since then, I have been following the progress of the Golf, and I must say that the sixth iteration of this icon has not been a disappointment.
